We are Ralph and Carol Bass.  We are interested in the medical transcription business; we wonder about its future; we are interested in its tools.

Carol started in this industry in the mid 70’s.  By 1980 she and I had started Transcription Specialist in Northwest Indiana.  By 1984 we had relocated to Greenville, SC where we bought Medical Dictation Service.  In 1988 we took leave of the industry for a while.  In 1994 we started Digital Transcription Inc, which we still own.
